Book Title : How to Satisfy You Mother-in-Law ?

Author : Mohammed Al-Kadhy

Number of Pages : 132 middle-sized pages

Alsalam alaikum Friends ,Hello everybody .

Wow ! ,I just finished another book already !! Thank God :dance:

Before you ask , Nope ! …I'm not married , nor engaged . And I'm not about to ,At least not in the foreseeable future ^^;

I just loved the title of the book when I read it in a list on the back cover of another book from the same publisher .

In my last visit to the book-stores'-street that I told you about ,I asked the book salesman about it ,He smiled and asked : -"Oh ,You are having problems with your mother in law ? " ,

I replied : -"No ,I'm not even married . I just want to be prepared " :blushes:.

He said something about wishing me good luck before handling me the book .

:giggle: I believe in the adage  "better prepared than sorry " ,Don't you agree ? ;P

Also ,I wanted to be able to give helpful advices to my married friends . :aww:

So ,…..How was the book ?

It was awesome !! :thumbsup:

One of the best books I've read . Really deals with the problem of the in-laws from all the aspects ..Giving easy clear solutions for them .

The first 30 pages might not be very interesting ,but once you reach the 4th chapter ,you're gonna feel the difference .:nod:

I might have my own reservations regarding some of the historical examples being given , but that doesn't mean that I didn't like the book .

In fact ,I'm planning to lend it to a bunch of people I know ,God willing .(already gave it to my mom ^^)

I usually keep a pencil by my bed (in order to write my ideas which like to come late at night ^_^ ) , I grabbed it and started to underline the phrases that I liked the most .

Here is a pathetic translation of some of the lines I liked …

:bulletblue: "(the wife wants from her husband to forget his mother and focus on her ) …Why don't the wife ask herself about her feelings towards her own mother ? Did these feeling change after her marriage ? " .

:bulletblue: "The mother must know that the motherhood is not a possession of the children . and that the highest value of the motherhood is the endless giving . "

:bulletblue: "The mother-in-law must know that the stability of the marital life is one of the aims of Islam " .

:bulletblue: "The wife must realize that marriage is not a possession of the husband ,just like when we said that motherhood is not a possession of the children .Because the truth of marriage is a share between two people ,each has a rudder in his hand to steer the new-life's ship ."

:bulletblue: "(some of the ways for the wife to make her mother in law loves her is to) …seek her advice ,even if she really didn't need it . "

Unfortunately ,I don't think that this book is available in any language other than Arabic :saddummy: . It will be awesome if it was .

Nevertheless , I recommend it to Every Girl who knows how to read Arabic , Especially if you were a Muslim Arabian girl …. Because it deals with a lot of problems that happens frequently in our Arabian society .

It will help unmarried girls like me to know what is coming and be prepared to deal with any problem and eliminate it before it starts .

It will help newly-wed girls to deal with the problems they might be having .

Even if you were married for several years now ,It will help you be prepared when you become a mother in law . and help you to teach your daughters how to deal with their in-laws .

Here's a picture of the book cover for you to look for

And here's the introduction that is written by the author (it's in Arabic) .

Now girls ,Go and get that book !! Now !! :la:

No links for today either ,Sorry again . :saddummy:

See you all soon .
:iconheartsign2plz:

P.S. : I finished it yesterday ,but my mom was reading it so I couldn't get the quotes last night ^^;

Aw, too bad I don't know a single word in Arabic. That's a book I'd definitely read.
